Kathy Marie Wilcox Storrie lives in Fairfield twp., Ohio with her husband and son. She graduated from Fairfield H.S. 1966, the University of the Cumberlands 1971, & the New Orleans Seminary 1975, where she finally found a husband. They worked with deaf in Florida. This story was almost aborted due to a misunderstanding. I took a children’s book course & the instructor said it was about the physical mechanics and not the story. I could pencil in a simple story & leave room for the artwork. I decided on a story about a teacher who spends his summers befriending the NYC homeless. The instructor lambasted me for putting a NYC hobo in a children’s book. My classmates & husband encouraged me to finish the course & write the novel. I’m a ’prophet writer’. We are usually sarcastic, funny, unpopular, critically honest, condemning of evil, social outcasts, & we call people into the light of Jesus Christ. If you like a Christian romance with a touch of the supernatural, fast reading, surprises, chill bumps, twists, turns, and goofy humor, you might like this book. When my main character blames God for turning his world upside down, it drives him into Running on the Edge of Glory. After I published my first Christian Romance I wanted to write another one, but my BFF (the Holy Spirit) told me to wait. He wanted me to read as many Christian Romance novels as I could. After six months of reading 28 books, He told me it was time. I took off typing like a puppy dog out of hell with a dry poopy dangling off his tail. I tried to keep the reader in mind. I added extra drama, twists, turns, humor, surprises, & tender moments. But, something was still missing!! One Sunday at the church library, a long row of creepy, Frank Peretti’s books grabbed my attention. After reading his Christian supernatural collection, I knew what was missing!
